Carbon Brush
Our range of carbon brush
Our goal is to create optimal designs that enhance both the lifespan and performance of brushes within specific applications. The potential combinations of brush configurations are extensive.
Our selection of fundamental carbon materials spans from Copper and Electro-Graphite to Resin Bonded and Silver Graphite, including unique blends of these materials. With access to over 50 high-quality carbon grades, we craft brushes in diverse shapes and sizes, tailored to meet the precise tolerances specified by our customers.
There are five main types of carbon brushes:
Copper Carbon Brushes:
Composed with copper powder, these brushes offer excellent electrical conductivity and thermal properties. They are often used in applications where consistent performance and heat dissipation are critical.
Electro-Graphite Brushes:
Made from a blend of synthetic graphite and other materials, electro-graphite brushes are self-lubricating and known for good wear resistance. They find application in electric motors, generators, and other high-temperature environments.
Resin Bonded Brushes:
Manufactured by combining carbon powder with a resin binder, resin-bonded brushes are durable and resistant to wear. They are suitable for applications where longevity and reliability are key considerations.
Silver Graphite Brushes:
Incorporating silver into the carbon material enhances electrical conductivity. Silver graphite brushes are chosen for applications requiring low electrical resistance and where prevention of electrical arcing is crucial, especially in high-current and high-voltage environments.
Metal Graphite Brushes:
These brushes combine graphite with a metal powder, such as copper or bronze. The inclusion of metal enhances conductivity and thermal performance. Metal graphite brushes are utilized in applications that demand a balance of electrical properties and durability.
